Update on Aussie Rules training -
Pre-Season training will be kicking off in March and each and every
Saturday from about 11:30am onwards at our new field location please join
the yahoo group for more information on the location. We will be doing
light kicks before that time so make sure you are on the mailing list for
information. We will most likely have a weekday practice too and it is okay
if you can only make one.
Training is mostly focused on the core Aussie Rules skills of kicking,
handballing and marking. The session is generally a light aerobic exercise,
no experience is necessary all fitness levels welcome. For complete updates

Noor Stars on MTV’s Fresh Meat Challenge
The Austin Crows Footy team is widely being known as a club possessing many reality TV superstars. After last season’s star appearance by Robbie Descant in the Bachelorette, Austin Crows and US Revolution wingman Noor “Ninja” Jehangir is making a name for himself on MTV’s Fresh Meat Challenge II.
In the show’s first episode, Ninja showed off his all-round athleticism as he won 3 of the 4 Fresh Meat trial events. Noor busted out 21 pull-ups to win that event and later followed it up with a 40 yard time of 4.84 to easily win that event. As expected he was the number one draft pick taken in the Fresh Meat draft.
Ninja has generously agreed to donate half of any of his show winnings to the Austin Crows in there chase for a National Championship this year. Follow Ninja in his quest to become the Fresh Meat II Champion on Wednesday nights at 9pm on MTV.

D's Shot at Love Hits the Rails
With much sadness to the Austin Crows family come the news
that star defender Robbie Descant did not receive a rose on the latest
episode of the Baccalaureate and has therefore been eliminated. Descant,
was in fine form in the first 5 or so episodes, but his luck, charm, and
game ran out after Jillian questioned Descant's lack of direction on a
scenic train ride through the Canadian mountains. Descant was left stunned
standing on the side of the train tracks, bags in hand as the girl of his
dreams left him for the 7 remaining guys. Descant will now be able to focus
on his footy full time without the distractions of being a national
celebrity.
