We’re an amateur Australian Rules Football Club dedicated to establishing and growing the great sport of ‘Footy’ in the Austin area and beyond. The club was first started in 2002 and quickly established itself in Austin and the Australian Rules Football community here in the States.  Our team consists of numerous NCAA athletes as well as talented individuals who relish the club atmosphere and the sport's competitive and physical outlets. In 2019, we expanded the club to include a women's team.

We pride ourselves on a rich club culture where we spend a lot of time together on and off the field.  We are a tight-knit but very welcoming group that knows how to explain the sport of footy to new and veteran players.

The Club consists of individuals of various nationalities, including Australians, Americans, and many others, representing both genders. Despite its intimidating appearance, Aussie Rules is considered to be safer than rugby and results in fewer injuries compared to soccer.
